8.00am Canon Philip Lambert begins Holy Communion in St Mary's Aisle.
Philip joined the Cathedral staff in 2006 and he heads up the Mission team.
8.00am Office staff begin arriving at work
There are 4 departments
at the Cathedral. Worship, Chief Executive's, Treasury and Property,
Mission.. For the most part they are located in the Cathedral
Office, 14 St Mary's Street, Truro, TR1 2AF.
8.00am The Restaurant staff arrive to prepare main courses and puddings
for lunch, and bake cakes for Morning coffee.
The Restaurant staff
comprises the Catering Manager, Supervisor and a mixture of paid and unpaid
staff. It provides Morning Coffee, Lunches and Afternoon Teas to our many
visitors both local and tourist.
8.30am Canon Perran Gay arrives to take Morning Prayer.
Perran is the head of the Worship and Ministry department. As Canon Precentor, Perran organises the worship at the Cathedral, he creates the Litugy for both the normal Services and any special Services that are required.
