5.00pm Switchboard and Reception closes for the day
Meeting rooms in the Cathedral office are available to hire. Contact the Cathedral Office 01872 276782.
5.00pm Lay Assistants arrive for Evensong
The Guild of Lay Assistants provide the staffing for all worship. They welcome people to services and hand out hymn books etc. They help manage the flow of people to take Holy Communion and organise the collection.
5.00pm Shop closes
The Shop is open all year round. A Christmas shop also operates in the Cathedral to meet all your Christmas needs.
5.30pm Evensong attended by the College of Canons
The College of Canons is a body that meets at least twice a year. It consists of all members of Chapter, the Suffragan Bishop, the two Archdeacons and other ordained and lay members of the Diocese. Individual members can raise any matter concerning the Cathedral.
