The Cathedral was built on the site of the Parish Church of St Mary's and one aisle of the original church was incorporated by the architect into the building of the new Cathedral. The Parish of St Mary's still exists with all the usual activity of a parish church, eg Baptisms, Marriages, Funerals, Spring fairs etc
8.30pm After lecture vergers restore table an seating ready for Restaurant opening tomorrow
