An introductory short journey of exploration around the cathedral that offers an overview of special areas of the building and key people who work here.
2 HOUR GUIDED ACTIVITIES
Truro Cathedral is a Special Place (including behind the scenes access)
This longer journey of discovery around the cathedral offers a more in depth exploration of special areas of the building and key people who work here. On this tour you will also spend time in the below ground level crypt area of the cathedral, not normally accessible to general visitors. During the second hour of the tour you will have the opportunity of independent exploration of the cathedral in small groups with a copy of ‘A Cathedral for Cornwall’ explorer trail for each child.

What is it that makes the cathedral a distinctly Cornish sacred place? On this tour you will discover some of the unique, Cornish features of the cathedral. As you explore the special areas of the cathedral you will learn about St Piran and other Cornish saints and visit the High Cross.

This immersive and interactive tour will take you on a journey through the events and with the main characters of the Christmas story as you move around the cathedral.
