The Arts

Truro Cathedral is packed full of art in a range of forms; painting, sculpture, architecture, textiles and more. Art can be a way of exploring the relevance of Christianity through everyday life and we encourage new art to the cathedral. We regularly host art exhibitions and work with a local university hosting student exhibitions.

We also work in partnership with galleries, for example our collaboration with Newlyn Exchange Gallery in 2016 resulted in a thought-provoking and contemporary installation at the cathedral from internationally renowned artist Imran Qureshi:
