Recitals
The Father Willis organ attracts organists from across the globe. We host some of the finest organists who generously waive their fees to provide recitals at no charge to our audiences. Each lunchtime recital lasts around 45 minutes. The series runs from March to October.
There is no charge for entry, but most people make a donation to support the cathedral. Popular donations are £5 (individuals) / £10 (couples) and the money raised helps cover costs such as professional maintenance and tuning of the organ and piano.
Truro Cathedral is self-supporting, we rely on the support of those who visit us. Donations, grants and gifts in Wills mean the building and instruments can be properly maintained, so that everyone can enjoy an exceptional programme of music in this wonderful setting.
