On the 15th May 2009 the Dean of Truro, The Very Revd Dr Christopher Hardwick, gave a presentation outlining Truro Cathedral's ambitious plans to open up accessof the cathedral's resources and facilities for the community of Cornwall and its visitors.
The Inspire Cornwall project will seek to put the cathedral at the heart of the community by developing a £4m project that will create a green oasis at the heart of the city and establish a leading centre for education, music and art while also restoring the iconic central tower.
