Camera and video permits
You should obtain a Camera Permit and/or a Video Permit from the Cathedral Shop at the start of your visit. The Camera Permit is £1 and the Video Permit is £3. Permission for the use of a tripod must be obtained from the Cathedral Office prior your visit

The Black Madonna
The Cathedral is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. This black ebony sculpture, depicting Mother and Child, is perhaps one of the most evocative pieces in the Cathedral.
