Camera and video permits
You should obtain a Camera Permit and/or a Video Permit from the Cathedral Shop at the start of your visit. The Camera Permit is £1 and the Video Permit is £3. Permission for the use of a tripod must be obtained from the Cathedral Office prior your visit

The Eagle Lectern
Eagle lecterns are very common in churches. The Eagle is the symbol used to depict St John the Evangelist. It is his writing that most clearly sees the light and divinity of Christ.
