Lent readings

It has been a tradition for some years at the cathedral that volunteers read a portion of one of the Gospels each day during Lent as part of our Lenten observance. This year it will be Mark’s Gospel which has often been described by scholars as being the ‘bare bones’ of a Gospel as it the shortest, and probably the first to be written. Do come and hear the readings which take place each day at 12 noon.
