The Cornwall Youth Wind Orchestra are excited to perform a wide range of traditional and more radical repertoire. This year's programme is a real roller-coaster of emotion. The Cathedral audience will amongst other pieces, experience the joy of "One Life, Beautiful", by female composer Julie Giroux; the fright of "Ghost Train", by Eric Whitacre; the desperation and fervour of "A Movement For Rosa", by Mark Camphouse; and the excitement of "New York" from East Coast Pictures by Nigel Hess. The highlight of the concert is a short symphony for winds by David Maslanka entitled "Give Us This Day".
