Holy Communion

The service is in two parts, with Bible readings, prayers, and possibly a short reflection from the priest, and then the communion itself, in which bread and wine are blessed, and worshippers come to the altar rail to receive the body and blood of Jesus. This exactly reflects what happened at the Last Supper, where Jesus said to his disciples, ‘every time you do this, you do this in memory of me.’ This links every Christian worshipper with what Jesus did for all of us and inspires us all to do likewise; we say at the end of the service, ‘send us out in the power of your Spirit, to live and work to your praise and glory.’

This service lasts about 30 mins.  All welcome.
