Lunchtime Piano Concert: Cheryl Brendish (soprano) and Clive Ellison (piano)

The piano concerts aim is to promote performances in which the cathedral’s grand piano is heard both on its own and also in combination with singers and instrumentalists. This concert features Cheryl Brendish (soprano) with Clive Ellison accompanying on the piano. Both musicians are very well known in Cornwall and further afield; Cheryl will be familiar to many as she has frequently sung roles with Duchy Opera, including Violetta/La Traviata; Countess/Marriage of Figaro; Rosalinde/Die Fledermaus. Programme TBC.

All concerts start at 1.10 pm and are generally on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. Admission is free, with a retiring collection in aid of Truro Cathedral Music. We do hope that many of you will join us in supporting these concerts, and would also be very pleased if you could pass on this information to any of your friends who may be interested.
