Lunchtime Piano Concert: Molly Leigh (violin) and Paul Comeau (piano)

May marks the start of the fourth series of piano concerts. As in previous years, the aim is to promote performances in which the cathedral’s grand piano is heard both on its own and also in combination with singers and instrumentalists. This concert features Molly Leigh playing violin, accompanied by Paul Comeau. The programme includes music by Mozart and Stravinsky. Molly is a gap-year student helping the Cornwall Music Service Trust. She has led the Cornwall Youth Orchestra for some time, and is off to study music at Bristol in September.

All concerts start at 1.10 pm and are generally on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. Admission is free, with a retiring collection in aid of Truro Cathedral Music. We do hope that many of you will join us in supporting these concerts, and would also be very pleased if you could pass on this information to any of your friends who may be interested.
