Midnight Mass

Please note: the service this year will start at 23:00, half an hour earlier than it has done in the past. Ancient Christian tradition maintains that Jesus was born at midnight – the beginning of a new day for the world. The service includes the Blessing of the Crib and the reading of the Gospel at the time of Jesus’ birth. Receiving Communion is also a further way of dedicating ourselves to receive the Christ-child afresh.  The Dean of Truro Cathedral, Roger Bush is the preacher at this service.

Please join us for this extremely special and moving service on Christmas Eve. All welcome.
