Truro Cathedral will be open from 10:00 to 15:00 on World Suicide Prevention Day.
It is not possible this year, due to Covid-19, to hold the annual service for people affected by suicide. Instead, those who have been affected by suicide are invited to drop in for a moment of quiet reflection or to light a candle in memory of someone who has died.
Members of Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust’s Chaplaincy Team, the Suicide Liaison Service, and cathedral Chaplains will be available to talk to throughout the day.
All are welcome, of all faiths or none. If you are not able to visit the cathedral, you can light a virtual candle in remembrance.
