Cornwall International Male Choral Festival: Category I Competition

From the 2 May – 6 May, Cornwall is host to the 2024 Cornwall International Male Choral Festival (CIMCF).

Around 50 choirs of various ages and nationalities are poised to gather for the long Bank Holiday weekend of May 2nd to 6th for the 11th biennial Festival - taking part in 35 events at 25 venues right across Cornwall to entertain more than 50,000 people. This largest event of its kind in the world will also see singers from Austria and Ireland performing alongside choirs from England, Wales and Cornwall.

Join CIMCF at Truro Cathedral, on the Saturday, for the Category I competition.

19:30 Celtic Male Ensemble

19:45 City of Truro Male Choir

20:00 Pre Results Entertainment: International Composers, Competition Results and Presentation of Pieces

The cathedral will be closed for general visiting all day. The Jesus chapel will be open for prayer and reflection.
