Launch of The British Legion Poppy Appeal

The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal raises more than £50 million each year which is then distributed and used to support ex-service personnel and their families. The cathedral plays a key role each year in Remembrance events across the city of Truro and the County of Cornwall. These events this year begin with the local launch of the Poppy Appeal on the entrance steps at the West end of the cathedral at 11:00 on Saturday 25 October.
