Mothers' Union
Founded in 1876, Mothers’ Union is a worldwide Christian movement with 4 million members. It campaigns on issues that affect women and families - poverty, injustice and gender-based violence - and provides practical support at grassroots level. Truro Cathedral and St Mary’s Mothers’ Union branch usually meets at 2.00 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month in the Chapter House to hear a talk and enjoy tea and cake together. they also organise services (such as Lady Day in March or Advent in December); run a free Family Fun Day in August and get together with other branches in the Diocese for shared events and activities. People of any gender, whether parents or not, are welcome and they invite you to join their friendly branch.
