Cathedral Gardening Group

Do you like getting your hands dirty?  Over the summer months, Canon Lynda set up a new cathedral volunteer gardening group to assist with the development and maintenance of the green and various garden areas of the cathedral.

The group was the brainchild of longstanding volunteer, Mard, and benefits from the expert guidance of Lucy, another of our volunteers, who is a horticultural professional by day.  The group has various plans for the coming months, from the creation of composting facilities to the planting of tubs and borders.  The six-strong group is now seeking new members to join its enthusiastic team.  You might have the gift of green fingers, you might not - gardening experts and novices are equally welcomed - but a willingness to get your hands dirty is a must!
