Cathedral in Pink!

On Monday 20th September our cathedral was lit up in pink in support of the NHS during organ donation week. The NHS's #LeaveThemCertain campaign encourages us to talk about organ donation with our loved ones: 

"Talking to your loved ones about organ donation can give them the certainty they need to support your decision at a difficult time" - NHS

"One donor could save or transform up to nine lives...One day you could make an extraordinary difference" - NHS

It was beautiful to see the cathedral as a beacon for this important issue, promoting kindness and strength in others at some of the most trying times. To give people the confidence in knowing their loved one's wishes when they are no longer with us.
