An Evening Organ Concert with James Anderson-Besant and Andrew Wyatt
This exciting concert will showcase the full power and versatility of the cathedral's Father Willis organ, with James and Andrew performing a captivating programme of both organ solos and duets.
Featuring music spanning from the ancient to the contemporary, the evening promises a rich and varied musical journey, and will include a duet arrangement of Holst's 'Jupiter' from The Planets Suite, alongside pieces by Bach, Mozart, Vierne and Elgar.
As two of the musicians who know the cathedral's magnificent organ best, James and Andrew rarely have the opportunity to perform together in concert. This makes the concert particularly exciting, with audiences able to enjoy the unusual spectacle of four hands and four feet!
