Cathy Davies School of Art Exhibition
Celebrating the Artists exhibition.
In the classroom, Cathy and her Junior Artists explore and appreciate Cornwall’s natural beauty, discovering how local artists have drawn inspiration from the landscape to create their own work. Together, they discuss subject matter, techniques, and the artists behind the work. Through a variety of media, Junior Artists are encouraged to ask questions, experiment, and develop their skills and techniques, while learning about local artists and their creative journeys. This exhibition showcases the artwork of these Junior Artists.
Based in her studio in Cornwall, Cathy Davies immerses herself and her audience in the region’s beautiful landscapes, exploring and occasionally intertwining abstraction and realism within her mixed-media paintings.
