Christmas Tree Festival

The Christmas Tree Festival offers a magical festive experience for visitors of all ages.

Entry to the festival is free, although donations are warmly welcomed. Local businesses, charities, and community organisations have each sponsored and decorated a tree, creating a spectacular display throughout the Cathedral Nave and Chapter House.

The beautifully decorated trees can be enjoyed in a family-friendly setting, making it a wonderful seasonal attraction for residents and visitors alike.

The festival is open during cathedral opening hours from 30 November 2026 to 2 January 2027.
