The Good Friday Liturgy
This service is stark and bleak; it is the service of the crucifixion: there are readings and prayers, and the cross is brought from the back of the cathedral to the front in order for the congregation to give thanks for Jesus total self giving of himself in love for us. We finish the service by receiving the bread of Holy Communion, to show that his presence is with us, even in the darkest times of our lives.
This service will be live-streamed on this page at 10:00 and the replay will be available to watch on this page after the service has finished. If you have any problems viewing the live stream or replay, please visit our YouTube channel
