2026 sees the tenth series of summer Tuesday lunchtime concerts! 

The concerts, which take place mainly on the first and third Tuesdays of the month from May to September, offer a chance to hear just a sample of the wealth of musical talent that exists in Cornwall.

For this concert, Victoria Stolte and Stella Pendrous have had to withdraw, but soprano Imogen Dowse has agreed to perform instead at short notice, accompanied by Paul Comeau.

Imogen was one of just a few Truro Cathedral choristers selected to sing alongside Westminster Abbey Choir at the King's coronation in 2023. She has just completed her second year studying English at Merton College, Oxford. Imogen has appeared on many CD's, often as a soloist. Currently a member of Merton College choir, she has sung with the Britten Sinfonia, the BBC Concert Orchestra, the Tallis Scholars the Oxford Consort of Voices and Oxford Baroque Players and on BBC Radio 3 broadcasts.

Imogen's interesting and varied programme includes music by Bach, Schubert and Mozart alongside early twentieth century English songs by Quilter, Vaughan Williams, Gurney, Finzi, Elizabeth Maconchy and Madelene Dring.

Concerts last for around forty-five minutes, so offer a perfect break in your shopping trip or your working day. There is no charge to see these concerts, with donations appreciated to support Truro Cathedral Music, particularly Truro Cathedral Choir.
