Truro Cathedral welcomes families - it is a wonderful place to explore with your children and we have lots of free activities. The cathedral has also developed a number of fun and engaging family trails for you to enjoy:

Riff Raff the Cathedral Cat Trail

The Noah's Ark Challenge

St Piran's Trail

Can you find Teddy Horsley?

Throughout school holidays on Monday-Wednesdays there is an arts and crafts activities table for children. The messy table activities include brass rubbings, wreath making and finger puppets - no booking necessary.

We also have family-friendly events and concerts across the year, such as our annual ‘cushion concert’, a concert designed for children where Truro Cathedral Choir’s boy choristers introduce and sing a short programme of music - children are welcome to sit at the front on cushions! Please check our What's On page to see what activities and events are taking place when planning your visit.

Our café offers a children’s menu.

The Children’s Church meets every Sunday morning at 10:00 in the cathedral crypt. All ages are welcome, whilst parents attend the service a similar theme will be explored through Bible stories, discussion, art and craft activities, music, singing and prayer.
