Following a major refurbishment, The Chapter House has reopened as a vibrant, multi-purpose space at the heart of the cathedral community.
The Chapter House is now home to a café, shop, exhibition space, and venue for meetings, events and private hire. Whether you're visiting for coffee and cake, browsing gifts and souvenirs, exploring exhibitions, or looking for a unique venue for your next gathering, we look forward to welcoming you.
Café Opening Hours
Monday to Saturday
10:00 – 14:30
Enjoy a selection of refreshments including hot and cold drinks in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Choose from a selection of cakes, including vegan and gluten-free. Hot food includes soup of the day, breakfast rolls, various filled rolls and a variety of savoury pastries.
