Evening Easter Vigil with Baptisms and Confirmations

The Easter Vigil is one of the most joyful services of the year. It starts with a tour of the highlights of salvation history within a beautifully-lit cathedral accompanied by music sung by the cathedral choir.

As the joy of the resurrection is proclaimed candles are lit, joyful hymns are sung and we celebrate the First Communion of Easter.

This year the service will include Baptisms and Confirmations conducted by the Bishop of Truro. If you wish to get baptised or confirmed at this service please contact suewallace@trurocathedral.org.uk

Further information around the lent course exploring the christian faith can also be found on our website.  All are welcome to come to these sessions which will take place in the cathedral Chapter House on Sunday afternoons during Lent (enter through the cathedral). During these sessions we will explore various aspects of the Christian Faith, looking towards the baptism and confirmation service on Easter Eve at 19:30. Please note even if you do not wish to get baptised or confirmed you would still be very welcome to attend any or all of these sessions. No booking is required.
