Support at Christmastime

Person by pricket stand with lit candles in Truro Cathedral

For many, Christmas is not a time of joy and laughter.  It can be a challenging time when tensions and problems in our lives are sharper and more difficult to cope with.  A time when we need a listening ear and the support of someone who cares.  Each day throughout the year, but particularly over the festive season, Truro Cathedral is open and welcomes you in to sit quietly, light a candle and/or pray.  You might also find it helpful to know a trained cathedral chaplain or member of the clergy is present each day to offer a pastoral helping hand should you wish to talk confidently.  Please visit our pastoral page for more information.

We can also help to put you in touch with professional agencies should you wish:
